This event will now definitely be run.
Oxford Bridge Club is holding a heat of the National Handicap Pairs Championship at the clubhouse.
We will play approximately 30 boards. There will be a short break at half-time for tea, coffee, and refreshments (cake and fruit).
Handicaps will be based on the average NGS of the two players in each pair, so all players will need to make sure that their NGS is visible. To do well you simply have to play better than expected based on your NGS - anyone can win this event just by having a sufficiently good day!
Blue masterpoints will be awarded to the top third of the field in the national results.
A commentary on the hands will be uploaded to our website after the end of play.
Entry fee is £10 per player, to include tea and refreshments.
Non-members are very welcome to play. If you haven't played at the club before, please make yourself known to the director or scorer.
As soon as you book you will receive a confirmation email. If you receive no email it is likely that you made a mistake with the email address. Contact online@oxfordbridgeclub.com who will try to put it right.
