The simple tools and techniques have been my lifeline over the years, especially during my time as a busy, overwhelmed schoolteacher.

You don’t have to sit crossed legged and chant
You don’t have to clear your mind-that’s just impossible!
But what you will learn is
• How to become aware of your thoughts
• How to understand your unhelpful thought patterns
• How to take back control of your busy mind
• How to find a little peace from the chaos and busyness of the outside world
• How to begin to smile at your mind and recognise when it begins to spin.
• How to enjoy your life again whatever you have going on!
We’ll spend time talking about the mind, thoughts and practising Mindfulness Meditation tools and techniques and explore our usual patterns that can keep us in overwhelm. We’ll look at tasks that we can do in between sessions to support our practice of Mindfulness. It’s all about practice and developing new habits!
We’ll end each session with a guided Body Scan meditation that will help to improve concentration and focus and will support the mind in finding a sense of peace, clarity and calm.
