FREE Practical Craft Workshop
Take your rustic woodworking skills a step further by creating a multi-peg wooden coat rack/sculpture using green wood, natural branches and traditional peg-and-dowel techniques.
This workshop progresses from the single coat-hook activity and gives you the opportunity to create a larger, useful piece of rustic woodcraft.
All tools and materials will be provided, and your finished piece can be entered into the Made & Grown – Autumn Garden & Craft Awards.

This practical workshops form part of the West Midlands Grow & Garden 2026: Made & Grown – Autumn Garden & Craft Awards.
Come along, learn a new skill and make or grow an entry for the competition. Tools and materials required for the workshops will be provided.
This is a practical activity and may take place outdoors, so please come dressed appropriately for the weather and wear clothes and footwear that you don't mind getting dirty.
Free drinks will be provided.
