Overview
During this course, you’ll design and create a vibrant autumnal canvas inspired by bold colour, pattern and shape. We’ll explore the work of Yayoi Kusama while developing your understanding of colour theory and playful pattern combinations. Drawing on your growing artistic knowledge, you’ll plan and create your own final piece. With a maximum of eight students per class, you’ll enjoy focused guidance and a warm, supportive learning environment designed to nurture both confidence and creativity. *All necessary materials and equipment will be provided by the studio, just bring your creativity! *

Course Planning & Teaching
Our courses are thoughtfully designed and taught by Kitty, Creative Director and Founder. A fully qualified teacher with 17 years of experience, Kitty is fully insured, certified in First Aid, and holds an enhanced DBS check, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all learners.

Safeguarding & Wellbeing
We welcome children of all abilities and aim to create a calm, encouraging environment where everyone can thrive. Each session is designed to help children feel safe, supported and respected, with gentle guidance available whenever they need it. Children are encouraged to take short breaks and speak to an adult if they need help or reassurance. Simple behaviour expectations are shared at the start of each class so the group feels comfortable, focused and confident.

Health, Safety & Practical Information
Risk assessments are in place for studio activities, and materials and tools are always age appropriate. First Aid provision is available on site throughout each session, and any outdoor inspiration gathering moments are fully supervised. Parents are asked to ensure children arrive in clothing suitable for creative activities, as some sessions may involve messier materials or light outdoor exploration.
