Fairer Health for Children & Young People in South Yorkshire Conference

Detaljer

Delivered in partnership between the South Yorkshire Primary Care Workforce & Training Hub and South Yorkshire Children and Young People’s Alliance, Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Inspired by the progress already being made across South Yorkshire, we can learn from what works, tackle challenges together, and create a fairer, healthier future for children and families.

This conference brings together professionals from primary and secondary care, local authorities, academia, and the voluntary sector to:

  • Recognise how health inequalities shape the lives and outcomes of children and young people across South Yorkshire, and be inspired to create fairer opportunities for every child to thrive.
  • Be inspired by successful initiatives from across South Yorkshire that are improving outcomes for children and families, and discover practical ways to turn learning into action in your own practice.
  • Build on some of the insights, ideas and conversations held at the recent Dream Big South Yorkshire Year of the Child 2026 Summit.
  • Explore how we can work together to shape and deliver effective neighbourhood health models.
  • Identify practical actions that you can make in your practice to build a more inclusive, accessible, and fairer health system.

Join us to be inspired by the change already happening across South Yorkshire, connect new learning to your own role, and leave with practical actions to make a lasting difference for children and families

For GPs, Allied Health Professionals, Clinical Directors, PCN Directors, Practice Managers, Practice Nurses, Care Coordinators, Social Prescribers, Neighbourhood Health Teams, Consultants, other Secondary Care Clinicians and Managers, colleagues from Public Health, Voluntary Sector, Local Authority and Social Care.
