"Everyone plans for the birth, but who is planning for you?"
The early weeks after birth can feel tender, transformative, and full of unknowns. This 2.5-hour workshop offers a calm, reflective space to explore what matters most to you, understand the emotional landscape of the early weeks, and create a practical, values-based postpartum plan that supports your wellbeing.
What we will explore together:
• Postpartum Mapping: Clear your anxieties by mapping out your support network, meals, and boundaries.
• The Dark Hours: Honest, gentle strategies for navigating nighttime feeding, soothing, and protecting parental rest.
• Nervous System Steadiness: Simple grounding tools to help you feel regulated and resourced.
What is included in your ticket:
• Bespoke Planning Templates: A physical workbook to take home and use.
• Nourishment: Warm drinks and comforting snacks.
• Partner/Supporter Space: Your birth partner or primary supporter is included in your ticket at no extra cost.
✨ Launch Gift
To celebrate the launch of this new workshop, every family booking onto the November session will receive a complimentary 30-minute postnatal phone or Zoom call with me once baby has arrived. A gentle space to check in, ask questions, think through the practicalities of family life, and receive a little extra support as you settle into the fourth trimester.
Who is this for?
Expectant parents (whether it is your first or second baby!) who want a smoother, more supported transition into life with a newborn. Babies and older children are welcome if they can be part of a calm, reflective space.
Our workshop is held at the beautiful Grow Yoga studio, tucked away inside Artisan's Yard, Dyson Place (off Sharrow Vale Road), Sheffield, S11 8XX.
• Finding us
Walk into Dyson Place. Head past the central seating area towards the left back corner where Artisan's Yard is located. Look out for the entrance sign guiding you into the calm sanctuary of the Grow studio.
• Parking
There is pay-and-display parking on Sharrow Vale Road. Give yourself an extra few minutes to park and wander down the alleyway.
• What to wear
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can easily relax, sit, and nestle down in. Chairs, mats, cushions, bolsters and blankets will be provided.
• A note on partners and children
Your ticket covers one birth partner, co-parent, or support person to join you for free. We highly encourage you to experience this space together.
If you need to bring an older child or baby, they are so welcome as long as they can rest or play gently alongside us to preserve the calm, steady energy of the room.
• Arrival
Doors will open at 9:50am. We invite you to arrive a few minutes early so you can shed the busy outside world, grab a hot drink, and settle in before we begin at 10:00am.
