Education Reimagined

Detaljer

Following the success of our Reimagining Education event in early March, we are delighted to offer a Saturday event to those who weren't able to join us.

We will be watching some of the video footage from the day and discussing informally.

This event is for anyone who is interested in young people's welfare, children's rights and rethinking the educational paradigm.

We will be hearing from three experts:

Naomi Fisher
“How School Makes Learning Hard”
How humans naturally learn and thrive. Why conventional schooling often undermines motivation. How do we help children flourish?

Sophie Lovett
"Towards Children’s Liberation"
How can we support Children’s Rights in our education settings? Why unequal power dynamics are unhealthy for both adults and children.

Ian Cunningham
“Self-Managed Learning: Creating Environments Where Teenagers Thrive”
Practical models of self-managed learning in action. How centres work, what teenagers actually do, and insights for parents and educators.
