A week long painting holiday based at the Verrocchio Arts Centre in Casole D'Elsa, Tuscany. Verrocchio Arts Centre is in the beautiful hilltop village Casole d’Elsa, located between Pisa and Siena. The Arts Centre is an old grain store housed within the medieval walls of the hilltop town and has a wonderful artistic heritage, being the home and studio of the late artist Nigel Konstam. Over the years many artists have taught and painted at the centre, including my tutor Graham Giles and it's full of their original artworks.
The lively and picturesque village and classically Tuscan landscape all around means that there is a wealth of subject matter within easy reach. We will be working within a short walk of the arts centre each day. We will also be travelling by taxi to either Siena, Volterra or San Gimignano for an afternoon of sight seeing or sketching
Staying in one place provides exciting opportunities for making series paintings or more sustained works to depict the glorious Tuscan light very specifically as it changes throughout a day. Temperatures in early October should be perfect for working outside. There will be lots of individual tuition and painting demonstrations.
Payment is in two separate parts: tuition (£400) and accommodation (Approx £942 - £1015)
The full tuition fee is £400. The balance of £280 will be due 8 weeks before the start of the course.

▶︎Use of studios, terrace, library etc. Tea and coffee available (cows milk supplied - non dairy alternatives can be bought in the village)
£300 deposit to reserve a room.
Balance payable 6 August - 8 weeks prior to the start of the course.
Terms and Conditions
Once you have reserved a room and paid a deposit if you must cancel your trip within 15 days of booking, we will refund your deposit in full.
If you cancel after 15 days, FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER (including, but not limited to, health conditions, family emergencies, medical emergencies, personal reasons) the following cancellation terms WILL BE APPLIED:
Accommodation Cancellation Terms
▶︎ Cancel within 15 days of booking and your trip deposit is fully refundable
▶︎ Cancel AFTER 15 days of booking and your trip deposit is NON REFUNDABLE
▶︎ Your Accommodation Balance Payment is due 8 weeks prior to the trip start date. Should your trip balance payment not be received, after a maximum of 3 attempts, we will consider your space on the trip as forfeited, and your deposit as non refundable.
▶︎ Should you cancel your trip AFTER having paid your Accommodation Balance, the following cancellation terms will apply:
56 – 31 Days – Refund of any trip payments collected MINUS a cancellation fee of €800
30 – 0 Days – No Refund
