Explore the world of industrial robotics by building a motorised, mechanical hand that can be remotely controlled using your own hand by wearing a sensor-covered glove.
You will:
-- Build a motorised robotic hand
-- Add sensors to a glove
-- Write code to send the sensor readings wirelessly to the robot hand.
-- Write code to move the fingers on the hand using motors.
The workshop is based around the BBC Micro:bit and uses block-based coding to make it accessible to beginners and more experienced programmers.
Delivered by Think Create Learn, specialists in robotics and creative computing who bring engineering concepts to life through hands-on projects (thinkcreatelearn.co.uk).
If the session is fully booked, please join the waiting list. This helps us see the level of interest and plan future sessions.
