An 8 week course aimed at parents/carers of children aged between 5-10 years who have ADHD (suspected or diagnosed).
This course deals with managing ADHD behaviours, medication, school support, de-escalating anger and more.
Attendance is required each week and a few small homework tasks are required to be completed in order to get the full benefit of this course.
Course dates - 23/2, 2/3, 9/3, 16/3, 23/3, 13/4, 20/4, 27/4 (two weeks off for Easter holidays on 30/3 and 6/4).
There is a non-refundable booking fee of £20 to secure your place, however this nowhere near covers the cost of running the course (estimated at £3,000) so we would appreciate any additional donations to ensure that we can continue to run these courses in the future. Donations can be made with your course facilitators or via our website:

This course is for adults only, unfortunately we cant accommodate children.

Please arrive on time as there is a lot to cover. Notebooks and pens will be provided.
If you are unable to attend please cancel your place ASAP. We understand things can happen at the last minute, however the charity will still be paying for an unused place that someone else needs.
If you need to cancel your place, you MUST do this through the Book When system as this automatically notifies the next person on the waiting list that there is a place available. Please do not attempt to cancel your place via phone, text or email as this may not give us time to offer the place to someone else.
No shows or multiple last minute cancellations may result in not being able to make future bookings for events.

The office is on the third floor and access is via steps only. If you have mobility issues, please let us know and we will try to accommodate your needs at another venue on a different date.
Parking available at the side and back of the building. If there are no spaces, please park safely on Saddleworth Road.
