Reflect • Release • Prepare the ground for your intention to take root
‘Making Space’ is the first of two Sankalpa workshops - offering a gentle way to begin the new year, with presence, not pressure.
These workshops offer a spacious, heart-centred alternative to traditional New Year’s resolutions. You’re invited to attend one or both sessions - each stands alone, but together they create a meaningful arc from reflection to intention.
This is a welcoming, community-focused space open to everyone, including those new to the tradition of Yoga, that may find studio spaces unfamiliar, as well as those attending on their own.
Tickets are offered on a sliding scale.
Sankalpa is a yogic practice of forming a heartfelt intention. Rather than striving for self-improvement, it’s an inner knowing that guides you back to your true, wise, loving Self.
Held on the full moon, this session invites you to look back on the past year with curiosity. Together we’ll explore what can be celebrated or composted to create space for a meaningful Sankalpa to take root.
You’re welcome to join this session on its own, or continue the journey with the second Sankalpa workshop, held on the 16th of January near the first new moon of 2026, where we’ll anchor your 2026 Sankalpa and explore how to move forward with your intention.
A nourishing 3-hour session that weaves together movement, reflection, rest, and connection.
We’ll begin the session with dynamic movement to bring clarity, calm the mind-body, and connect to the physical, mental, energetic, and transpersonal layers of your being. Expect clear cues and modifications of postures that meet you where you are.
With structured prompts, you’ll be invited to reflect on 2025 - what unfolded, what wisdom you’re carrying forward, and what may now be released to make space for your Sankalpa to emerge. You will receive a new journal from Flame Tree Publishing for your reflections.
You’ll be guided to share your reflections and ideas with a partner - to plant the seed of intention amongst a supportive community.
We close with a deeply restful guided meditation, inviting you into the liminal space between alert-consciousness and deep sleep - a space for your sankalpa to take root.
Grounding herbal tea and homemade gluten-free, dairy-free, naturally sweet treats throughout.
