Led by ethnomusicologist Francesca Linares MA, this workshop explores the powerful role of music in preserving Afro-Peruvian traditions.

This workshop will blend together research, history, culture and practical musical exploration, a perfect opportunity for those who want to understand and learn more about diverse musical methods amongst the Afro-Peruvian community and the power it holds for them.

This workshop is open to participants aged 18+ from diverse cultural backgrounds. Please note that the research section will explore themes of enslavement and identity. We encourage participants to consider this subject matter before booking.
