Pilates is a whole body work out that trains and develops core strength, body awareness and flexibility.
As a physiotherapist teaching Pilates I apply clinical experience and knowledge to emphasize functional anatomy, body awareness and joint mobility.
This facilitates the activation of deep core and joint stabilizing muscles to improve posture, functional performance and promote injury prevention in all members of the class.
The classes run as 6 week courses and have a mixture of abilities in each class. Therefore there is not a specific beginner or advanced classes, the exercises are tailored according to the class/individual ability.
If you are new to the class, please download and complete the Pilates health screen/consent form and bring it with you to your first class
