Nottingham Acro Convention 2027

Welcome to Nottingham Acro Convention 2027! 🤸
..... NAC IS BACK! 🤜

We’re so excited to bring you another weekend full of acro, learning, play and community connection across Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th January 2027.

Founded & created by Laurie, hosted by AcroRedHeads (Laurie & Kev).

NAC27 brings together guest teachers and acro communities for two days of workshops, jams and plenty of time to connect, with workshops ranging from complete beginner through to advanced.

Across the weekend there will be 7 workshop rounds, with 4 workshop options in each round, alongside plenty of opportunities to jam, socialise and connect with the wider acro community.

📍 WHERE?

Erewash Valley Gymnastics Centre
New Tythe Street, Long Eaton, NG10 2DL

The main convention takes place here on Saturday & Sunday. Our Pre-Con AcroJam takes place on Saturday morning at a separate nearby venue and is not included with your NAC27 ticket.

🤸 WHO CAN ATTEND?

Everyone! NAC27 is designed for a range of experience levels, from newer acrobats and people completely new to acro conventions, through to experienced practitioners.
There will be a beginner-friendly option available in every workshop round, plus a dedicated Newbie workshop on both days (numbers dependent).

SOLOS — You absolutely do not need to come with a partner — solo attendees are very welcome!

🍴 FOOD & SOCIAL

There is no food included with your ticket, though there will be limited drinks and snacks available to purchase at the venue.

We are also planning for food trucks onsite for Saturday evening, with vegan and gluten-free options available.
As we are in the heart of Long Eaton town, there are plenty of food options just a short walk away.
We’ll also have our food-sharing table — bring something along to share with the community if you’d like to!

That said, it’s super important to stay hydrated and energised throughout the weekend, so please make sure you bring enough food, snacks and drinks to keep you going throughout the day.

Further catering/social details will be confirmed closer to the event.

🛣️ TRAVEL & PARKING

🚆 Train: Long Eaton Train Station is the nearest station, approximately a 30-minute walk or 6-minute drive from the venue.
🚌 Bus: Long Eaton is well connected by local bus routes, with the venue located close to the town centre.
🚗 Driving: There is free parking available at the venue. Additional parking may be available on surrounding streets (please check signs).

We know people travel to NAC from all over, so we’ll also encourage lift sharing within the community where possible.

More specific travel information will be shared closer to the event.

🏨 ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is not included or provided as part of NAC27, so attendees travelling from further afield will need to arrange their own accommodation.

There are plenty of accommodation options in and around Long Eaton, as well as nearby Nottingham and Derby.

If accommodation is a barrier to you attending, please get in touch with us! We have lots of lovely local acro-ers who have offered spare beds and spaces to visiting acrobats, and while we can’t guarantee accommodation, we’ll do our best to help connect people where we can.

♿ ACCESSIBILITY & SUPPORT

We want NAC to be as welcoming and accessible as possible, and we understand that everyone’s needs are different.
If you have any accessibility requirements, additional needs or anything we can do to support you during the weekend, please let us know on your registration/medical form or get in touch with us directly.
We also offer an Accessible Weekend Ticket (£95) for those who need a lower-cost ticket in order to attend. No proof or explanation is required.

If you’re unsure whether NAC can accommodate a particular need, please reach out — we’re always happy to chat. ❤️

🤸 PRE-CON ACROJAM

Start the weekend early with our Pre-Con AcroJam on Saturday morning, 10:30–13:00, at a nearby separate venue!

The Pre-Con Jam has a limited capacity of 40 people and is not included in your NAC27 ticket.
Places will be offered separately, in the order people registered their interest, subject to availability. If you selected that you’re interested in the Pre-Con Jam on your NAC27 Registration Form, keep an eye on your emails for further information.

This is the only part of the weekend taking place at a different venue — the main NAC27 convention then begins at 14:15 at Erewash Valley Gymnastics Centre.

💸 REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

We understand that plans can change, so please make sure you’re familiar with our refund and transfer policy before booking.

Refunds:
• 90% refund within 28 days of booking, or until 30th November 2026 — whichever comes first
• 50% refund available from 1st December 2026
• No refunds from 1st January 2027

Ticket Transfers:
Tickets can be transferred to another person up to 48 hours before the event. Please contact us to arrange a transfer — do not simply pass your ticket on, as we need the correct attendee and medical information for everyone attending. Only transfers that go through us will be valid.

Full terms & conditions apply to all bookings (available when entering booking details).

🩺 MEDICAL & ATTENDEE INFORMATION

All attendees must complete the NAC27 Medical Form before attending the event. A separate Medical Form must be completed for each attendee.
The form collects important medical, emergency contact and support information to help us keep everyone as safe and supported as possible throughout the weekend.

A link to the Medical Form will be provided in your booking confirmation, so please make sure this is completed before NAC27.

If any of your information or circumstances change after completing the form, please contact us so we can update your details.
