Looking for a fun, relaxed way to connect with fellow quilters? Stitch & B*tch is your time to sew, share, and socialize!
Come meet new quilting friends, get inspired, and bring any questions or project challenges—chances are someone in the group will have a solution. It’s amazing what you can learn just by stitching alongside others.
This isn’t a formal class—just good company, good conversation, and lots of stitching. And while you're here, take advantage of having the whole store to explore... you never know what new fabric might catch your eye!
✂️ What to Bring:
-Whatever project you're working on
-Sewing machine & basic sewing kit
-Any questions or problems you’d like help with
-A sense of humor and a love of quilting!
Whether you're finishing UFOs (unfinished objects), starting something new, or just want to hang out with like-minded makers, this is the perfect excuse to spend more time doing what you love.
This class begins after store closing time at 5pm. The sign will say closed, but the door will remain open for students only. Your instructor will be able to ring you up for any items you'd like to buy during class.
Your Host: Helen Gnuechtel is a dedicated and award-winning quilter with over 20 years of experience in the craft. Her love for sewing began in childhood, but quilting has become her true creative sanctuary—a source of peace, focus, and joy.
Helen’s quilting journey has taken her through a wide range of styles, techniques, and materials. She has created everything from small table runners and quilted jackets to king-size quilts, using methods such as paper piecing and applique. Her work includes both simple and highly intricate designs, and she often incorporates new fabrics, scraps, and even clothing from loved ones to create meaningful memory quilts.
Her technical skill and artistic vision have earned her ribbons at quilt shows, recognizing her excellence in both quilting and longarming. Each piece she creates reflects her deep passion for the craft and her commitment to storytelling through textiles.
