Lino Printing Workshop (Print your own Clothes!)

Join Georgia from the Patience Studio for a wonderful linocut taster workshop where you'll explore the art of lino printing with our experienced tutor.

You'll start by either selecting one of our many pre-made designs, or you can draw your own, then you'll learn how to transfer it onto your block, carve it, ink it up, and create your own prints onto paper or clothes!
Bring your own t-shirt, trousers, hoodie, tote bag, babygrow...whatever you like! You will be guided through the process of transferring your prints to your clothes so you have a cool new garment to take home with you!

Do not worry if you do not wish to bring any clothes, you can still experience the process and print your designs on to card.

-Gain hands-on experience in the lino printing process
-Create at least 1 finished print or item of clothing to take home
-Keep your hand-cut plate for future creative projects

Don't worry if you're new to this - our workshop is perfect for beginners. You'll receive all the support you need and can bring your own creative ideas to the task in a relaxed, pressure-free environment. This is an adult-only class where you can meet like-minded individuals and enjoy the journey of creating without the need for perfection.
You will be provided with all the materials and equipment you need. By the end of the session, you'll not only have unique prints to take home but also a newfound skill that you can continue to develop.

Please note: as you will be bringing your own clothes, we cannot guarantee the success of each print based on types of fabric etc. we recommend bringing lighter coloured cotton for this!
