We're excited to be working with dance artist Kate Taylor of Pigeon, to create an outdoor performance (called Flock) taking place in Worcester city centre on Sunday 4 October. We'd love you to be part of it - and it's free to take part!
The Pigeon Project celebrates place, migration, belonging and connection, told through the universal image of our feathery friend, under the creative direction of Kate and her amazing team.
Kate says "We’re looking to recruit an intergenerational cast for Flock. So if you’re between 6 and 100, and have a passion for performing, we'd love to work with you.”
Pigeon is a community engagement project led by Creative Director, choreographer and producer Kate Taylor, part of Project OK, a mental health and wellness project.
Pigeon partners are Dancefest and Scala. Pigeon is supported by Arts Council England.
Please wear clothes and footwear you can comfortably move in from the list below. Bring a drink/refillable water bottle.
Grey/black/dark base
Long sleeved jacket or shirt using the 'pigeon' colour chart! Grey tones, purple, blue. These could be checked, striped.
If anyone has difficulty we will source some spares. We encourage participants not to buy new!
