The Safeguarding & Protecting Children online session is aimed at Golf Professionals, Junior Organisers, Volunteers, Welfare Officers and Club Secretary/Managers and is available at a cost of £35 per person. Please note, this online classroom session is for over 18’s only.
This Online Classroom will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse, and give you the tools and confidence you need to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively should the need ever arise.
A UK Coaching Tutor will deliver this interactive session via ZOOM/WEBEX and you will be involved in real-time activities and discussions.
There is a maximum of 15 spaces on each online classroom, with a minimum of eight attendees required to run.
Ticket sales will close 7 days prior to the event.
Following payment, you will receive confirmation of your booking from the BookWhen Booking system, which includes important information on the next steps and how to access the online classroom. If you do not receive this please contact clubsupport@englandgolf.org
Prior to the course, you will receive an email from UK Coaching - info@ukcoaching.org. This email will include the ZOOM/WEBEX link and details of how to gain access to the resources for the course. Please note, this email may go into your junk/spam folder, so it is asked that you also please check this folder. If you have not received this joining email please contact ukcoachingworkshops@ukcoaching.org
It is asked that you please ensure you have the required emails and links to access the course and resources at least 24 hours before the start of the online session or the Friday before if the session is on a Monday. We will endeavour to support in re-sending information, however this may not be possible if making contact within 24 hours.

Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before the online classroom start date. The booking fee is non-refundable at any time. Please contact (clubsupport@englandgolf.org) to request a refund.
If you give 10 or more working days’ notice, you may request to transfer to another online classroom at a different time or date, space permitting. This will give us time to try and re-sell your place. If less than 10 working days notice, we will only be able to transfer you to a future online classroom free of charge if your place is re-sold. Online sessions close 6 working days prior so please be aware that it may be difficult to fill places at short notice.
