Emergency planning/community resilience event

This joint Hampshire and Berkshire ALC event is delivered in partnership with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Local Resilience Forum.

Join us for a friendly, hands‑on session designed to help Parish and Town Councils build confidence in developing their own Community Emergency Plan. Whether you’re starting from scratch or updating an existing plan, we’ll guide you through the essentials, introduce simple tools and templates, and show how local knowledge and strong community networks can make a real difference during an emergency.
You’ll also take part in a tabletop exercise to help you understand how your plan could work in practice.
It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and leave feeling better prepared—and more connected as a community.

Tickets will initially be limited to two per council.

As this is a free event and we expect high demand, we want to ensure fair access for all member councils. If the event becomes oversubscribed, we may need to contact attendees to request reducing allocations to one ticket per council so that as many councils as possible can be represented.
