Advanced Scrambling Course in Snowdonia, North Wales - 2 Days

2-Day Advanced Scrambling Course in Snowdonia (Eryri), North Wales

Ready to take your scrambling to the next level? Join us for a two-day Advanced Scrambling Course in Snowdonia, tackling classic Grade 2 and Grade 3 routes in the mountains of North Wales.

Based in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, this course is designed for experienced hillwalkers and scramblers looking to develop their skills, improve their movement on steep rock and build confidence on exposed mountaineering terrain. With expert coaching and a maximum ratio of 1 instructor to 2 participants, you'll receive personalised guidance tailored to your experience and ambitions.

From intricate rocky ridges to steeper, more committing scrambles, Eryri offers some of the finest scrambling terrain in the UK. This course is also excellent preparation for bigger mountaineering objectives, including Alpine scrambling and more demanding mountain routes.

Routes we may tackle include: Cneifion Arete, Idwal Buttress, East Ridge of Y Garn, Notch Arête, Bastow Buttress, Nor-Nor Buttress, Atlantic Slab, Sentries Ridge and Dolmen Ridge. We try to vary the mountains aswell so day one could be on Tryfan and day two could be on Glyder fach.

Routes are selected according to weather, conditions and the group's experience, ensuring the best possible learning experience in the mountains.

If you're ready to move beyond Grade 1 scrambling and take on more technical terrain, this is the perfect opportunity to develop your skills and take the next step towards becoming a more confident mountaineer.
