Spoon Carving Workshop

• Learn the basics of spoon carving in this 3.5 hour workshop.
• Each participant will receive their own pre-shaped spoon blank, tasked with the challenge of revealing the spoon within.
• We will learn safe and efficient carving techniques with the straight knife, followed by learning how to use a curved hook knife to carve out the bowls of our spoons.
• This is a relaxed and informal workshop set amongst woodland and is a great way to slow down and be creative.
• All materials and tools supplied
• Tools used: Straight Carving Knife, Hook Spoon Knife
• Suitable for both beginners and intermediate carvers
• Suitable for ages 14+, all below 18 to be accompanied by an adult. No supervising adult booking is required if not taking part. Due to the nature of the workshop only the booked participant and a single supervising adult can attend.
