A gentle postnatal class designed to help you reconnect with your body and gradually return to movement after having your baby.
We’ll focus on breathing, pelvic floor, core connection, mobility and gentle strength, with plenty of options so you can work at a level that feels right for you.
Babies are very welcome - feeding, cuddles, nappy changes and breaks are all part of the class. There’s no expectation for your baby to behave in a particular way!
The session is relaxed and supportive, with time to meet and chat to other mums too.
It’s not just about the exercise. There’ll be time after class to stay for a cuppa, meet other mums and have a chat. Tea and coffee are included, and there’s no rush to disappear as soon as the class finishes. The next class starts at 11am.
Suitable from birth, provided you feel well enough to attend and there are no medical reasons you’ve been advised not to exercise. You’ll complete a short health and exercise screening form when booking so I can make sure the class is appropriate for you.
Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in and bring a drink for yourself.
Mats and any equipment needed for the class will be provided.
Please bring anything your baby normally needs while you’re out - changing bag, milk/feed supplies, blanket etc.
There’s absolutely no need to worry if you’re late, need to stop to feed or change your baby, or your baby cries. Just come as you are.
