I have over 28 years experience in Karate, having trained in Shotokan Karate with the Japanese Karate Association. This was under the guidance of the chief instructor of the Karate Union of Great Britain Keinosuke Enoeda (8th Dan). I also trained in Bujinkai Karate with Instructor Javid Sharif (2nd Dan) and, most recently, Kenshukai Karate-Do under the guidance of chief instructor Shihan Aaron Harris (6th Dan).

I am a NAKMAS registered senior Instructor/examiner with over 20 years’ experience of coaching all ages and abilities.

I am DBS certified to teach children and vulnerable adults, accredited to the Equality Standard in Sport and a qualified NAKMAS National Tournament Judge.

I undertake every challenge with equal motivation to achieve every goal and believe that the non-contact style of Kenshukai Karate promotes and ensures a safer environment for all students, old and new, resulting in a more welcoming environment for all.
