This half-day session introduces participants to the issue of suicide, explaining the context of suicide in our society, and the meaning of suicide in people’s lives. Suicide recognition, assessment, intervention and prevention methods are the focus. A non-judgmental approach based in care, compassion, and concern with the suicidal individual is presented in order to provide for a solid foundation of accurate suicide assessment and client safety.

Cost: $50.00
A minimum one-week notice is required to receive refund of registration fee. Email a notice of registration cancellation to Education@klinic.mb.ca. Notice must provide Booking #, full name of person registered, session title and date(s).
Schedule is subject to change. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to insufficient registration and we will make every effort to provide as much advance notice as possible.
Parking:
There is no parking onsite at Klinic, however, there is free time-restricted street parking on Furby Street and Langside Street. Note: Please be mindful of parking time restrictions, as Klinic Community Health is not responsible for any tickets or fees incurred.
