Enjoy a fun family event this spooky season and help us raise some funds to support our work on the farm and with children and families. You can select your own pumpkin and take it to our carving station to get creative. When you are done, get a photo on our haystack before tucking into hotdogs (meat and veggie), soup (ve), samosa (v) and hot drinks while the children enjoy some outdoor play. Our brilliant forest school leaders from Little Trees and Leodis Forest Schools will also be there with some tasty treats to toast on the firepit. Visitors are also encouraged to wear fancy dress – prizes will be offered to those who have made a special effort! Plus, if the kids complete the spooky quiz, they can trade it in for a treat.
The entry price includes entry to the farm, use of carving tools and play activities. There will also be a tour of the farm with one of our growers at 11am, that you are welcome to join. You will need to purchase pumpkins on the day. They will range in price depending on the size but will start at £3. The food and drink will also be available to purchase at a small cost.
Health and Safety - Children are the responsibility of their parents and carers at all time. Please support them when using the carving tools and also when moving around on the farm. It is a working farm and there are tools and machinery that are not safe to play with.
Access - You access the farm by turning off the A65 at Ready Steady Store. You will see a path down to the river which leads to the farm entrance.
Parking - There is NO PARKING at the farm. If possible, please walk to the farm. If you need to drive, you will find free parking on the streets on the opposite side of the A65. If someone in your party has a disability, please contact kirsty.ward@kvdt.org.uk to arrange access.
On-site
Kirkstall Valley Farm is a working farm with uneven ground and often windy weather. Please come dressed in appropriate clothing and footwear.
There is currently no disabled access or baby changing facilities at the farm.
Drinking water is available but we ask that you bring your own water bottles.
Please note: If we are unfortunate to have very bad weather and have to cancel this event, you will be issued a refund and have the option to collect your pumpkins from the farm.

Entry for one
This ticket allows one adult or child to attend the event. It includes entry, use of carving tools, play activities and spooky quiz. Pumpkins and refreshments are available to purchase at the event. Children 2 years and under are free and do not need a ticket.
