ITC Level 2 Award in Food Hygiene for the this qualification provides learners with a clear understanding of the benefits of outdoor food hygiene, including roles and responsibilities when preparing, cooking and managing food safely in outdoor settings.
It is ideal for those aiming to become occupationally competent, seeking permissions, or interested in teaching and facilitating outdoor food preparation.
The qualification applies to a wide range of outdoor cooking environments—from camp kitchens to expeditions, bushcraft, activity camps, and corporate events. Delivered through holistic assessment methods, the course includes 7 Guided Learning Hours and a Total Qualification Time of 8 hours. Upon successful completion, candidates are awarded the ITC Level 2 Award in Food Hygiene for the Outdoors.
This course involves a practical section, all the food (and hot drinks) will be provided on the day, we suggest bringing some snacks. Please don't hesitate to ask us about the food that will be being cooked on the day. Allergies and intolerances will be taken into consideration.

There is plenty of parking on the site, which can be found at Seales Hollow, Park Farm, Acresford Road, Overseal, DE12 6HY (driveway between 113 & 115 Acresford Road), where you will be greeted by one of the lovely members of our team.
DURING THE SESSION:
Please bring your own lunch, hot drinks will be provided. Please note this training is fully outdoors.
