Join our resident bird ringers for an exciting adult bird ringing event!
Meeting at the Anglian Water Birdwatching Centre car park, you will be welcomed into the fascinating world of bird ringing! Learn all about netting, ringing and releasing a variety of birds.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in birds, to see several species up close while they are being ringed and released. We will show you how we identify and age the birds, with plenty of time to ask questions and learn more about this fascinating activity. This event is suitable for ages 16+.
Each ringing demonstration will last an hour and a half, and includes a hot drink and slice of cake. The cost of your ticket also includes a day permit for both Lyndon Nature Reserve and Anglian Water Bird Watching Centre in Egelton.

Lyndon Visitor Centre is off the Manton to Edith Weston Road to south of Rutland Water.
Annual Reserve Permits required or Pay for Day Reserve permit/s as part of booking.
Alternatively, purchase Reserve Annual Permit as LRWT members for £45 at Lyndon or Egleton Visitor Centres.
The sessions are outside so please dress for the weather.
