Age 10+
In this 2 day workshop participants will discuss various filmmaking techniques and short film examples. They will learn about lighting, directing, camera work, sound and location shooting.
On the first day they will experiment with test shooting and then work together to plan a narrative for a short film which they will story board.
On the second day, they will be assigned film making roles and as a group shoot a single short film.
Please bring a packed lunch and morning snack (NO NUTS). We can provide drinking water and biscuits.
We will be shooting outside in the local area so please bring suitable clothing (raincoats/sunscreen) depending on the forecast. We will take students to the playground on Devane Way for a picnic lunch weather allowing.
