The art of Henna, called mehndi in Hindi and Urdu, has been practiced in Pakistan, India, Africa, and the Middle East for over 5000 years. This workshop will blend the science and the art of henna to produce a comfortable comprehension of this ancient technique. In class you will learn about this enduring tradition and how it is sued in modern society. The course will explore henna body art and the artistry of beautiful patterns that comes with practice and control. This course allows you to get in touch with your creative side, and learn the methods and materials required when using natural henna paste to achieve beautiful, flowing pieces of body artwork.
