In the Growing Space at St Helen's we provide an enriching environment for kids to:
– Enjoy hands-on gardening fun and form an early bond with nature.
– Take part in forest school activities, like den-building, playing mud kitchen, and grilling something over a small fire.
– Learn about the natural world, ecosystems, recycling, and much more.
– Explore freely, nurture friendships and socialise.
Through applying Montessori principles children:
– Get to enact sensory exploration, freedom of choice, and creative expression.
– Develop important life skills such as independence, communication, confidence, teamwork, and patience.
– Cultivate an understanding of and appreciation for sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Instructies
This is a drop-off day club.
Sessions will run rain or shine. Tarpaulins and covers will be provided as needed.
Please check the weather forecast and dress children appropriately, with closed shoes and waterproof clothing. Don't forget sun protection on sunny days and extra layers as needed
All attendees have to take any rubbish home so we recommend to avoid bringing anything disposable or with plastic packaging.
