I am a passionate advocate for women and girls so I'm delighted that the date for this month's Yoga Nidra falls on International Women's Day.

The theme this year is Give To Gain which encourages a mindset of generosity and collaboration.

"When people, organisations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. Giving is not a subtraction, it's intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise."

A proportion of this month's proceeds will go to the Malala Fund which focuses on countries such as Afghanistan where girls face the biggest barrier to freedom and education. The charity recently reported that the Taliban’s newly issued Criminal Procedure Code creates a system of domination that denies women and girls their most basic rights — including education, safety, freedom of movement and participation in public life.

Yoga Nidra is a deeply restful and restorative guided relaxation. All you need to do is make yourself cosy lying on the floor, on your bed or sofa with blankets and cushions and snuggle in for a long guided practice to refresh and restore.

A Zoom link will be sent before the starting time. Feel free to have your video on or off. You will be muted when you join the call but please feel free to unmute and say hello.

A recording will be available after class for those who wish to repeat during the week or if you are unable to make the session. This will be available for 7 days.
