This 3hr session is suitable for anyone who has completed a Mantrailing introduction session.
Martins Farm is a rural but public country park, we may come across members of the public with or without dogs.
Mantrailing Progression
Please read the following information carefully to ensure you are fully prepared for your session.
Parking
As the session will take place after the car park has closed, please park on the left-hand side of the lane opposite the car park entrance. Be mindful not to block access for residents or other road users.
What You’ll Need:
• 10-metre long line (No retractable leads, please)
• Well-fitted harness – Your dog will not be able to trail without one
• 2 small pots with secure lids – For holding treats
• Plenty of high-value treats – Enough for multiple trails
• Scent article – A small unwashed item of clothing you’ve worn (e.g. sock, glove, or T-shirt; no underwear, please) placed in a ziplock or sealable sandwich bag
• Weather-appropriate clothing and footwear – We trail in all conditions and across varied terrain
• Water and a bowl for your dog
• Poo bags – Please clean up after your dog
Optional but Recommended:
• Headtorch – It may get darker towards the end of the session
