Dear Friends and Dancers,
Although we are not officially working until the end of the year, the power of this time of Samhain is close to my heart, especially in our journey through loss.
As the season turns and the veils between worlds grow thin, we will gather to dance, to honour those who have passed, to remember our ancestors, and to meet the raw beauty of this moment in our lives and in our world.
This dance arises from a place of deep personal truth. Following the passing of my beloved son Joseph on September 4th, I have been travelling through the vast landscape of grief, a journey that continues to unfold with both pain and blessings. Returning home to Sancreed, I feel called to open a space where movement can hold us, heal us, and connect us.
Together, through music, nature, dance and shared presence, we will dance to honour the cycles of loss and renewal, the lives that have shaped us, and the love that never dies.
All are welcome, whether you come to remember someone dear, to release, to pray through movement, or simply to be held in community.
Contribution:
This dance will be offered by donation, to support us through this time while we are not working and giving ourselves time to grieve and process. However we also wish to ensure it remains accessible to everyone. Please give whatever you feel able.
If you wish to share the cacao please make the minimum donation of £5 to cover this.
We will also give a donation to Ba Miller for the land, this money goes to a charity of her choice.
To give you a guide, the usual price for the dance is £15-£18 for the Dance + £5 for Cacao.

Car sharing will be essential for this event, please see info on the confirmation letter - I will email you with contact list to arrange car share a day or 2 before we gather.
As with all outdoor events, this event will be weather permitting, if it is too wet, we also have the option to hold it on Sunday 2nd - we will inform you of this as we get closer to the day.

What to bring
Flowers and offerings to Ancestors and loved ones who have passed.
Appropriate clothes and warm things for the weather and something to sit on.
Drinking water
Some firewood - a few logs
Food & drink to share afterwards (no alcohol please)Optional
A torch may be helpful if you chose to stay on later around the fire after the event

Park at the main Trencrom carpark (see map link above)
There is limited parking so please car share if you can - I will share contacts a day or 2 before with everyone cc’d so that you can be in touch to arrange travel share.
If parked well there is space for about 8 cars, there is also space just outside the entrance to the car park in the lay-by on the right for about 4 cars and another car on the left side of the entrance. If you car share where possible this should be enough parking. If it is busy with other cars, and full when you arrive, you should be able to find other spots along the road side but please be careful not to block road or essential passing places, leave enough room for a tractor to get by. You could also arrange to meet others close by at the green waste company https://goo.gl/maps/1ceZFeaDKP3V1F4s6 and park and car share from there.
Walk out of the entrance to the carpark and turn right - walk 150 paces (I counted :) and take the track on the left to Treviscoe - see white wooden sign.
Once on the track take the first little path on the right by the wooden bird house - I will leave signs from there to the stone circle where we will dance.
Please avoid going to Ba’s house to respect her privacy, apart from to use the loo which is in her front porch.
