A short wander through the woodland of the River Hamble Country Park reveals the pontoon illuminated just for you. After a cold water dip, illuminated by lights in our tow floats and on the pontoon, we will dress and walk back to the car park together. It is a wonderfully unique experience!
Cold water has its risks and it is important to arrive prepared, enter the water gently, acclimatise slowly and be kind to your body, there is no obligation to stay in the water any longer than you feel is right for you. This is a unique opportunity to experience the water after dark with Kirsty. The round trip takes about one hour.
If you are a group of 6 or more friends contact me for a 10% discount code. MINIMUM GROUP SIZE OF 2 TO GO AHEAD.
Times vary as this swim is tide dependent.
Meet in the car park near the main entrance to The Barn.
Wear your swimming costume or trunks, warm layers and sturdy shoes for the walk. We will change before and after the dip at the river side so bring everything you need in a bag/backpack. You will need a torch for illuminating the walk to and from the river and then it can go into your tow float for visibility whilst in the water. If you don't have a dry bag tow float or torch, Kirsty can lend you one. Please also bring water shoes to protect your feet whilst in the water and any additional layers of neoprene you may choose to wear. Gloves and booties can really make a difference!
Lastly, bring a hot drink and snack as the cafe will be closed!
