Make your Mandala - Dotting with Hannah

Mandalas have been around for thousands of years. The word comes from Sanskrit and means circle — and across cultures from Hinduism to Buddhism to Celtic art, circular patterns have been used as a tool for meditation, focus, and calm. There’s a reason they’ve never really gone out of fashion. In this two hour session, Hannah — a Tring based mandala artist — will introduce you to the art of dot painting and guide you through the simple techniques behind it. You’ll have a go at some basic patterns first, choose your own colour palette, and then dot your own mandala design onto a circular wooden coaster to take home. It’s methodical, absorbing, and genuinely relaxing. The kind of thing where you look up and two hours have gone. No experience needed. Completely beginner friendly. Two hours, £25 per person.
