A gentle spring wellbeing session

Slow down and welcome the return of spring in this calm, creative Festival of Blossom session at Calke Abbey.

We’ll take a gentle walk among the blossom, pausing to notice colour, movement and scent, before settling into quiet reflection inspired by the season. Simple poetry and journaling prompts are offered (all optional), alongside a sensory exploration of herbs traditionally linked with spring and renewal.

This session is unhurried, inclusive, and designed for anyone who would like a peaceful, creative way to connect with nature and mark the beginning of the blossom season.

You don’t need any writing experience – just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.

🌸 Petals, Memory & the Passing Season

A reflective end-of-spring gathering

As blossom begins to fade and spring moves toward summer, this Festival of Blossom session offers space to pause, reflect and gently mark seasonal change.

Together we’ll enjoy a slow, mindful wander, noticing what has shifted since early spring, followed by a calm creative activity using fallen petals and leaves. Through optional reflection prompts and simple nature-based art, we’ll explore memory, change and gratitude for the season that’s passing.

This is a quiet, supportive session focused on wellbeing, creativity and connection to place – with no pressure to share or participate in any particular way.

A minimum of 6 people are required for these sessions to go ahead.
