The "Tuesday Trot" is a fantastic opportunity for runners of all abilities to come together for an enjoyable and sociable run! The format of a steady-paced 5-7km run with plenty of stops encourages camaraderie and ensures that everyone can participate at their own pace. Plus, the rotating locations offer variety and accessibility to different parts of the community. With a nominal fee of £2.00 or free entry for fully affiliated members, it's a great way to stay active and connect with others in a welcoming environment.
The first Tuesday of each month sees us start and Finish at Run Walk Sports in Oliver's Battery. They are kind enough to open for us, provide advice on running shoes and kit, offer us club discount and provide snacks and drinks after the run.
Meet at 6:50pm for a 7:00pm start.
Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions and ensure you bring water.
From mid-September through until April you will require a head or chest torch during the sessions.
On occasions runs may be off road or on trail and therefore trail shoes will be recommended. This will be advised through the club WhatsApp group on the day of the session.
