Details

Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) is a set of simple but effective design rules that you can apply to your home, business, church or school to help deter crime and increase the safety in your neighborhood.

Our nation is built on the strength of our citizens. Every day, we encounter situations calling upon us to be the eyes and ears of law enforcement. Not only does neighborhood watch allow citizens to help in the fight against crime, it is also an opportunity for communities to bond through service. The Neighborhood Crime Watch Program draws upon the compassion of average citizens, asking them to lend their neighbors a hand to prevent crimes from potentially happening

These four 2-hour sessions will be held on September 13th and September 15th (CPTED training) and September 20th and 22nd (Crime Watch training) from 5:30-7:30pm.

A member of each block club/ neighborhood association must attend all sessions to be eligible for the $1500 Crime Watch funding.
