Our beginners classes are offered in a 4 week course format. We believe you will learn the basics of salsa dancing better and faster in a progressive course format rather than attending drop in classes where material may have to be repeated numerous times as new attendees join each week.
Every individual progresses/ learns differently but typically we would expect someone to do the beginners course 2-3 times before progressing to the drop in classes.
Your beginners course includes the following:
One 1 hour class (45 mins partner work and 15 mins footwork) - 7.45p - 8.45pm
Practise session (usually supervised by a volunteer) - 8.45pm - 9.30pm (optional)
Two hours social dancing - 9.30pm - 11.30pm (optional)
Additional learning resources delivered by email each week

In 'normal' times we operate a 48 hour cancellation policy. Given the current situation if you become unwell with covid like symptoms during the 48 hour cancellation period prior to starting your course please contact us and we will do our best to either transfer your booking or refund you. For all other circumstances the normal cancellation policy applies.
Please note all Sweetlead events are #TTE Test to Enter for the forseeable future. Proof of a recent negative lateral flow test is a condition of entry. Your test must be taken on the same day as the event you are attending and preferably as close to the time you leave home/ work to come as possible.
