2/1 is the latest development of the five card majors, strong no trump system. It is the system of choice of many of the best players around the world. 2/1 produces a game forcing situation at a low level which improves the accuracy of game and slam bidding. Peter will introduce the 2/1 bid and describe how it fits into the system which will be briefly described. The relatively minor changes will be detailed. At least passing familiarity with the five card majors, SNT system will be assumed.
Peter Litchfield has kindly agreed to run this course again, he is a club member and very experienced bridge player. There will be some changes from the original course but this will be an ideal opportunity to improve your understanding of the system.
Level: Intermediate
This course will be face to face at OBC on Saturday mornings from 10.00 until 12.00.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start so you can get a drink and be seated before 10.00.
