Details

This is one of a series of seminars that are aimed at club players who have got past the beginner stage and want to improve. Each seminar includes a led discussion of sample hands followed by some practice hands. The aim is to show the sort of thinking that is natural for experienced players.

This seminar covers such topics as:

  1. The rule of 11
  2. When third hand should, and shouldn’t, play the highest card held on the lead
  3. When to return the suit and when to switch
  4. Which card to lead if you return the suit
  5. Suit preference signals.
