Release your inner Vintage Glamour Ghoul. We'll be learning a brand new DOUBLE feather fan dance choreography- yes with TWO feather fans!
Attendees will also have the chance to perform the routine at our Butterfly Boudoir showcase in Leicester (UK) on Saturday 15th June! There will be only a small group for the performance to ensure enough space to spread those feathery wings.
FEATHER FANS ARE PROVIDED, the fans are on the smaller size of large to be manageable for those new to feather fan dance. Picture shows the actual fans we'll be using (Vintage gold colour!).
Those learning online will need some fans to practice with, they can be the smaller Oriental style fabric or paper fans- they don't need to be large (but it helps if they are).
EXPERINCE REQUIRED: Dancers should have at least two years of regular belly dance training and be familiar with foundational belly dance movements as these will not be broken down- training in fusion style is an advantage but not mandatory for this intensive.
COSTUME: There will be costume requirements- but we'll use items participants already own where possible to keep costs down.
CAN I PERFORM THE ROUTINE AT A HAFLA? -Yes! Attendees are welcome to perform the routine at a hafla or show as long as Doe Demure is credited for the choreography.

Zoom recordings will be available to all attendees, please allow 48 hours after each class for these to be uploaded.

The performance takes place in the 'Diana Princess of Wales Hall' at Attenborough Arts Centre, stage rehearsals start at 5pm Saturday 15th June.
