GGS: SIRENS Mermaid Fusion Belly dance Intensive

Legend has it that sirens would tempt sailors with their beautiful song and drive them to shipwreck on the rocky shores of the islands in the sea. Learn a mermaid/siren inspired fusion bellydance 🌊

Attendees will have the chance to perform the routine at our CHRISTMAS Butterfly Boudoir showcase in Leicester (UK)! Final rehearsal and show date: Sunday 15th December 2024.

EXPERINCE REQUIRED: This is an intermediate choreography and participants need to be comfortable with layering belly dance movements. Any combinations and layers will be broken down, but basic technique will not be explained.

COSTUME: You will need a mermaid tail shaped skirt (with or without splits) in blue, purple or green, with a fusion belt or chain belt. You will also need a white/cream/yellow coloured bra- the more shell or starfish shape the better, or you can use a white bra base and add strings of pearls to create your own. Sea themed accessories encouraged.
