Introduction to E-Collar Training Workshop

This workshop will focus on effective communication between you and your dog while providing them the skills required for off leash reliability.

Pairing our four methods of communication (body language, verbal, leash and e-collar) this workshop will have you and your dog set up for success moving forward with training.

The following topics will be covered:

• The stigma around electronic collars
• Benefits and disadvantages to the collar
• Body language and effective communication
• Leash handling skills
• We will discuss your dog's individual needs and goals
• Teaching impulse control
• How to create and maintain a proper training record
• Recall, Place, Opposition Reflex and more!

Please note, we do not use electronic collars for punishment and will not tolerate any one else using them in that manner.

We strive to build a positive relationship and association with the collar as we do with all training.

This allows us to train and pair the e-collar so you can eventually unleash your dog while maintaining a direct line of communication to keep them safe.

If you have an e-collar already please email us and let us know what kind you have. A good quality e-collar is paramount for fair and consistent communication with your dog.

We use E-Collar Technologies Mini Educator for their wide range and ease of use. Benefits are: 2 year warranty, waterproof, vibrate, stim, audible, light, 1/2 mile range and more.
