Are you struggling with guilt while trying to balance work and family life?

This workshop offers a compassionate and practical space for mothers returning to work after maternity leave. It explores the nature of mum guilt - its impact on thoughts, feelings, and actions - and why it occurs, drawing on values, evolutionary science, and societal factors. Through reflection and discussion, participants will understand that guilt stems from care and commitment, not failure. They’ll also learn simple, actionable tools to manage guilt, such as separating guilt from values, practicing self-compassion, and reframing quality time to focus on connection over quantity.

By the end of the session, participants will feel supported and equipped with strategies to navigate mum guilt with greater ease. They’ll learn to view guilt as a sign of their values, challenge perfectionism with kindness, and create meaningful moments with their children, even in busy schedules. The workshop will also highlight the importance of support networks and small steps for workplace advocacy, leaving attendees feeling empowered to balance their roles as mothers and professionals with confidence and compassion.
