Pregnancy and Postnatal Pilates
This class focuses on safe, gentle movement to help support the changing needs of the body during pregnancy and recovery after birth. Exercises are modified to suit each stage, emphasising core stability, pelvic floor strength, posture, breathing techniques, and overall body awareness. During pregnancy, the class aims to reduce common discomforts such as back pain and improve mobility while preparing the body for labour. In the postnatal period, it supports recovery by rebuilding abdominal strength, restoring pelvic floor function, and improving overall fitness in a gradual, safe way.
Classes are typically suitable for all levels and may include relaxation and mindful breathing to support both physical and emotional wellbeing. Guidance is often provided by a qualified instructor with experience in maternal exercise, and adaptations are offered for different stages of pregnancy or postnatal recovery.

Instrukcje

Fill in health questionnaire.
Pregnant ladies - speak to your midwife if you are unsure about starting a new exercise program.
Stay hydrated before and after the class.
Don't eat heavy meals before the class.
Please bring a small hand towel.
Bring a mat if you own one . I have all the equipment needed.
Pregnancy ( second trimester) please bring a wedge cushion if you own one. Please don't worry if you don't. Exercises will be modified in sitting position.
