Baby Swim UK's Beach Clean Up Family Day 🐚🌊

🌊🏖️ Baby Swim UK Beach Clean-Up Family Day

I’m so excited to announce that Baby Swim UK will be holding it's ⭐️ 1st Annual Beach Clean-Up! ⭐️

I would LOVE for as many Baby Swim UK families as possible to join us at Weston Shore, Southampton, as we come together to give our beach a little love. 💙

🌏🌱 This is about so much more than picking up litter. It’s a wonderful opportunity to educate and inspire our children to care for their environment, and understand the difference they can make.

🏖 After so many happy summer days enjoying the beach, it’s important that we show our little ones how to leave it as beautiful as we found it — or in our case, how we can make it even better! 🌊✨🐢

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Bring the family
🧤 Get involved
🌏 Help protect our environment
💙 Make a difference together
⭐️ Then the real fun begins!!
🚮 Let's clean up our lovely local beach.

🐚 Life's a beach is very kindly going to supply us with all the equipment we need, give us a safety talk and make this an educational event for our young children.

As a charity they do rely on support from donations to continue their work. So if you are able to help with a donation of any amount it would be appreciated.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for this event.

Their amazing charity's mission is to eradicate single use plastics at British beaches, and the promotion reusable products.
The charity does this by:
💙 Acting: Beach cleans and litter picks
💙 Educating: Younger generations about plastic pollution.
💙 Encouraging: Reusable products and alternatives to single use plastic.

So far they have collected and removed 6661 kilos of rubbish! We can't wait to add to that number!

🧺 We will be hosting a LUNCHBOX picnic on the beach after the clean. To promote the message 'Leave NO Mess'.
Reusable drink bottles, and lunchboxes or picnic baskets will be perfect.

🧠 This will be a great way to educate our children how to bring food and drink to the beach, without needed to leave anything behind at all!

😃 And a lovely chance to converse with other Baby Swim UK families.

Don't forget your blanket!

🌿🐚 Gentle Explorers we’ll be joined by Gentle Explorers for a special nature-led, beach-inspired play session for our little ones.
Their love of nature and eco-friendly play fits beautifully with what we’re hoping to create. Think shell, stone, wood creation and play!
