The Chesterfield Walking Sport Festival is a community-based programme celebrating and promoting inclusive walking sports across Chesterfield.
The festival will include free taster sessions for you to have a go at. There will also be demonstrations and community engagement activities covering walking football, walking hockey, walking cricket, walking rugby and walking netball.
Come and join us for a fun celebration event hosted in partnership with Chesterfield Football Club Community Trust and supported by Chesterfield Borough Council.
Free BBQ and Chesterfield Cricket Club bar will be open for drinks.
As well as the five sporting clubs involved we will be inviting groups to have stalls at the event i.e. Live Life Better Derbyshire, Age UK, Social Prescribing Team, CBC’s Sports Centres, CFCCT, mental health groups.
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
