CHEF of Baton Rouge Homecoming 2026

General Rules

• Respectful Behavior – Treat all chaperones, volunteers, and peers with courtesy and respect.
• No Inappropriate Language or Conduct – Profanity, suggestive language, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
• Christ-Centered Atmosphere – Music and dancing will be wholesome and appropriate. Lewd or suggestive dancing is not allowed.
• No Substances – This is a drug-free, alcohol-free, and smoke-free event.
• Guests – Non-homeschool guests must be pre-approved and are expected to follow the same rules and dress code.
• An adequate number of chaperones will be present throughout the event. Attendance by additional parents or guests is not permitted.
• Re-entry is not permitted once a student leaves the venue.
• Dinner will NOT be served at this event. Light snacks will be available.
• Music played at this event will include songs from various genres. (clean...no explicIt)
• There will be a photo area set up for taking pictures with your cell phones.
• Photos – Respect others’ privacy. Ask permission before posting photos or videos online.
• Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door!
• Must have a ticket for entry!

Dress Code

• To honor God and promote modesty, all students and guests are expected to follow these dress standards. Chaperones reserve the right to ask anyone to change or leave if attire does not comply.

Ladies

• Dresses should be modest in length. Fingertip length/mid-lower thigh. NOT Thigh high for those with shorter arms. If you drop something and cannot safely bend down to pick it up, your dress is too short.
• Necklines should be modest. No plunging or low cut styles. Please use common sense and do not show more than you should.
• If you are questioning if it would be appropriate, it probably is not appropriate. Think, classy, elegant, and fun. An outfit that makes you feel confident while still honoring a modest, family-friendly environment.

Gentlemen

• Dress pants (or khakis) with a button-down shirt, polo, or suit.
• Jackets and ties are encouraged but not required unless otherwise noted.
• Shirts must remain on and tucked in during the dance.
• No ripped jeans, shorts, or casual t-shirts.

Additional Notes

Modesty and respect are expected from everyone.
The goal is to create an atmosphere where everyone can relax, have fun, and glorify God in how we present ourselves and treat others.
