Perfect for beginners and those wishing to practice their throwing.
Sessions are two hours long and include 15 minutes cleaning up time.
Beginners are offered intensive tuition and returners get the opportunity to practice.
At the end of each course of five sessions throwers should be competent throwing a variety of functional shapes.
First time attendees of the throwing class are being taught skills. If a participant wishes to keep a pot a the end of the course there is a £24 charge for glazing and firing the pot.
Returners to the throwing class may keep up to 5 pots from each term, all materials glaze and firing are included in the cost of the class.
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
If you have an apron please bring it with you.
Long hair should be tied back.
Please remove rings/bracelets etc if possible.
If you have long nails throwing will be more difficult, if possible trim nails.
